If you are like me I learn best by doing and the next best way is to watch someone doing what I need to learn. Based on this I have a web site that has many videos on how to stuff. The videos range from easy things like flower arrangements to repairing major appliances. A great help site for your view pleasure. Remember the phrase ‘monkey see monkey do’?

The Daily Number is typically drawn from surveys, research or analysis done by one of the Pew Research Center projects. Each day’s entry includes links to additional information on the subject as well as to an archive of past Daily Numbers. Listed below are the entries in the Daily Number feature for the last thirty days.”

School needs Psychological Evualation

In Taunton Mass., a 8-year-old boy was sent home from school and ordered to undergo a psychological evaluation after he was asked to make a Christmas drawing and sketched a stick figure of Jesus on a cross. What is happening in our schools? This is just unbelievable. Christmas is the celebrated day for the birth of Jesus and I can easily see how a boy would draw a picture of Jesus on a cross to represent a beginning and and end to the life of Jesus on earth. A psychological evaluation? It is the school and teachers that need the evaluation not the students!

Most of you are familiar with AAA as they have been around for a long time providing maps, towing, and many other services to automobile owners. Another service they provide is daily gas price averages. My compute to work is a considerable distance from home and this gas fact helps me keep track of what I should be paying so I don’t stop a gas station that is overpriced.

Fasinating painting

The power of this painting is Amazing. As you run your cursor over each person, their name and a brief description will be revealed on the side of your screen. This is the most timely and powerful piece of art done so far in this digital age. Thanks to Jon McNaughton.

It has over 40 patriotic heroes speaking to us from the dust as Jesus Christ holds the US Constitution. See if you can identify each of the patriots. There is a link to the detailed description of the 57 symbols and an interview with Jon. Click on the links above the picture for more information on the picture.
